This week’s recipe is great for those on Prime, Detox, or other plans that actually allow bananas. I, oddly enough, hate bananas. Banana is literally the one flavor that makes me gag! As an equal opportunity blogger, I want to post recipes now and again that include ingredients others may enjoy. I asked a previous Detox client of mine, Marnell Gorman, to assist. She tried this recipe, took some photos, and gave me her two cents. Check it out!

Mix, cook (use nonstick spray on your pan), and eat!
Here are Marnell’s notes: I love these pancakes. So simple and so quick. I mashed the banana and almond butter with a fork then mixed in the egg. The recipe made 2 regular size or 4 small pancakes. This recipe counts as one carb/half protein/half fat. Perfect for L1 Prime and Detox plans. I suggest rounding out your meal by added another egg, cooked to order. If you would like to fill out your fat serving, smear another tablespoon of nut butter on your pancakes or use up to a tablespoon of olive oil in which to cook your pancakes. Feel free to try other nut butters in the recipe as well!
